General Mechanics
The HOKA Midnight Run Asia is an electrifying, neon-lit race designed to transform city streets into a glowing celebration of movement, music, and urban culture. This race will be held across three major cities in the Philippines:
Manila
Davao
Cebu
Runners can participate in three race distances:
5KM
10KM
21KM
The first gunstart is at midnight (12 AM), embracing the essence of the Midnight Run and ensuring a unique, high-energy experience under the glow of city lights. Participants will run through neon-lit courses accompanied by pulsating music and an electric atmosphere, making this more than just a race—it’s a dynamic urban festival.
Podium Finishers and Awards
Top finishers per category will receive special awards and recognition:
21KM: Top 3 Male and Female runners
10KM: Top 3 Male and Female runners
5KM: Top 3 Male and Female runners
Safety
Participants must follow instructions from event officials, marshals, and medical personnel at all times.
Skates, strollers, pets, or any wheeled devices are not allowed on the racecourse.
Costumes covering the face or extending beyond the body’s perimeter are prohibited.
The race organizer reserves the right to delay, cancel, or suspend the event due to weather or other safety concerns.
Any participant ordered to retire from the race by event officials, medical staff, or authorities must comply immediately.
Sportsmanship
Unsportsmanlike behavior, offensive actions, or use of inappropriate language will result in disqualification.
Protests regarding results must be submitted in writing within one (1) hour after results are posted, accompanied by a non-refundable protest fee of P5,000.
Verbal protests will not be entertained.
Entry Form & Fees
Registration requires accurate participant details, including emergency contact information.
Additional processing, web, and delivery fees may apply.
Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.
No changes to participant details will be allowed once the race has started.
Age Requirements
21KM: Participants must be 18 years and above.
10KM: Participants must be 16 years and above.
5KM: Participants must be 13 years and above.
Kids 12 years and below may participate with a parent/guardian.
Participants below 18 years must have parental/guardian consent, with the guardian signing the entry form.
Race Number (Bib)
The official race bib must be worn in front and be clearly visible at all times.
Timing devices (B-Tags) attached to the bibs must not be folded or tampered with.
Participants without their official race number may not have their times recorded.
Race numbers are non-transferable; violations will result in disqualification and suspension from future events.
The Start
Participants must arrive on time at the starting line.
Climbing barricades or entering the course improperly will result in disqualification.
Late arrivals (more than 15 minutes after the start) will be disqualified and not receive official results.
Timing
Finish times are recorded from start to finish using the race timing system.
Top finishers are determined based on gun time (from the starting horn to crossing the finish line).
The Course
Runners must stay within designated areas; leaving the racecourse and re-entering is prohibited.
Unauthorized pacers or unregistered participants are not allowed.
Assistance from non-official personnel will result in disqualification.
The Finish
Cut-off times for each category:
21KM – 4 hours after the official start
10KM – 2 hours after the official start
5KM – 1 hour after the official start
Prohibited Items
Participants are strictly prohibited from carrying the following items:
Weapons of any kind, including firearms, knives, and mace
Flammable substances, fireworks, explosives
Large coolers, tents, or bulky items
Alcoholic beverages and illegal substances
Drones, selfie sticks, large camera rigs
Non-transparent bags exceeding 1L capacity
Animals/pets
Glass containers, rolling bags, strollers
Costumes that obstruct vision or extend beyond body dimensions
Sleeping bags, large blankets, or comforters
Folding chairs, camp chairs, and tables
Containers of liquid larger than one liter
Unmanned aerial devices, drones, or flying objects
Rule Changes
The race organizer reserves the right to modify any rules and regulations to ensure the success of the event.
Any decisions made by the race organizer are final and cannot be contested.
